Nicknamed the 'Paradise of Iran', Kelardasht is a fertile
depression more than 1250m above sea level. Recent archaeological discoveries (the founds are in the National Museum of Iran in Tehran) have uncovered
habitation dating back to the 10th century AD. The main town in the region is
Hassan-keif, on the road between Abbas-abad
